Answers about DiscountLab pricing, Shopify discounts, activation, combinations, conditions, and Shopify POS
Quick answers to common questions about building and operating Shopify discounts with DiscountLab.
Product and pricing
DiscountLab: Discount App by Mounli is a visual, node-based discount builder for Shopify. You connect an Initial node, condition branches, and Rule nodes to describe when a product, order, or shipping discount should apply.
Yes. DiscountLab is planned to remain free, with no trial period and no monthly subscription fee. The app is being built as a practical tool merchants can keep using, while Mounli grows through trust, feedback, and future products.
Not yet. DiscountLab is preparing for launch. Installation links will be added after its Shopify App Store listing is available.
No. You build the promotion on a visual canvas. DiscountLab validates and compiles the workflow into the configuration used by its Shopify Function.
Building discounts
The launch builder covers product, order, and shipping discounts. Available actions, targets, and selections depend on the selected class. See Actions, Targets & Selections.
Yes. Conditions can be combined in nested AND, OR, and NOT groups. Each branch routes the workflow according to whether its condition tree evaluates to true or false.
Yes. Configure its start and end dates. The end date must be later than the start date, and the store timezone should be considered when testing activation.

They are product candidate selection strategies. First chooses the first eligible candidate, All applies to all eligible candidates, and Maximum or Minimum selects the candidate based on the resulting saving. Read the selection reference.
Not at launch. Template storage and revision history are planned capabilities, but they are not currently exposed to merchants.
Activation and sales channels
Only active discounts are pushed to Shopify. Resolve validation issues, test the workflow, and activate it when the observed result matches the campaign you intend to run.
Eligible workflows can be used with Shopify POS, but online checkout and POS may provide different context. Test POS separately, especially when a rule depends on customer attachment, delivery details, location inventory, or cart composition.
Test an eligible cart, an ineligible cart, exact threshold values, scheduling, customer targeting, discount combinations, and every sales channel used by the campaign. Follow Test and Activate.
Open Troubleshooting and check status, validation, dates, eligibility, targets, and combinations in that order.
